My Ziggy Stardust gold booties that I ordered during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale arrived this week, and I think they are just fantastic! #1-They are FUN. I don't have anything in my wardrobe like them. 2-The price! I have a pretty expansive (over saturated) wardrobe, as you can probably imagine. I was lucky to inherit some pretty amazing pieces, and because of my work and love for one of a kind and/or vintage fashion, clients, friends and strangers often come to me with their otherwise throwaways. Since I am constantly shopping for clients and photo shoots, I really hardly ever buy anything that isn't on clearance or on sale, like these booties. Side note, another example... the ruffled skirt I paid $150 for, and here's a similar one at retail now for $1207.47! At any rate, I'm psyched for my new gold booties! I immediately tried them on, as did both of my boys. I threw together a couple of outfits to share with you before they came in and ran off with them. Hey, if David Bowie dug 'em!
