Alexander McQueen Inspired Avante-Garde Wedding

This third look in a series of three designer inspired weddings, exhilarated by the master of Avante-Garde, Alexander McQueen, was a stylist's dream come true.  I will let the pictures do the talking because looking at them takes my breath away.  I will just say Kristin Hayes is genius.  The girl reads my mind.  Each and every time.  The choker I commissioned last minute, showing Kristin a picture of a gown and a headpiece for my vision.  Keeping in mind the black wedding gown we would be using, she fused the two inspiration images to create this choker overnight. My eyes burn looking at it, it is that good. I hope you are inspired to do a wedding that is uniquely YOU. Oh and one other thing, Lori Konawalik has an ability outside of wedding photography like nobody's business.

Missoni Inspired Bold Bohemian Wedding

With Margherita Missoni's actual wedding as the inspiration, Margherita being the empress to the Italian fashion house Missoni, this bright and bold elegant lunch on the grass was “session two” for the day in the recent designer inspired editorial for Carolina Bride. Each vendor’s contribution truly made it what it is.  No stone was left unturned.  Margherita's wedding is THE fairy tail wedding dream in my eyes, and so I guess you could say this project was a dream too...

Ralph Lauren Inspired All-American Wedding

A dream commission, I was tapped to work with Carolina Bride Magazine and several other amazing vendors to create three distinct designer inspired wedding day looks. I wanted to showcase inspiration from three brands that were unique and vastly different from one another.  The first of three looks was inspired by the American fashion brand genius, Ralph Lauren, to create an All-American look. Think equestrian, rich plaids, cotton lace and all the other classic staples you could imagine to recreate a timeless affair.
